This work is built on three levels, in an ascending path that puts the human being at the center of a choice.
At the base, the mirror: small, concrete, immediate. There the observer sees only himself, only the present. It is the closest, most real, and at the same time the most limited point.
Above, the city-New York-symbolizes our everyday life. There we live, we build, we shine. But we also consume and forget. It is the space of the possible, but also of conflict.
And finally, higher up, the Crescent Nebula: the visible trace of that which towers above us and eludes us. There we cannot mirror ourselves, only look.
The work invites us to reflect on where to turn our gaze: downward, to the here and now, or upward, to what transcends us. Three levels, three dimensions of existence, one question: who are we, really?
